About me

I have worked in Music for over 30 years as a classical singer, teacher, workshop leader and choral conductor. I studied voice and vocal pedagogy for over 15 years with the renowned teacher Janice Chapman AUA MOA and have sung in Opera, Oratorio and Song all over the UK. From July 2022 I will be working as a clinical hypnotherapist with performers of all kinds

My Approach

I believe that all singers both recreational and professional should have access to the best quality vocal tuition based on up to date voice science and experience. My courses are packed with tried and tested tools to help singers at any stage of their development and delivered in a nurturing and supportive manner

“This course is always the highlight of my week. A wonderful, calm, inspiring and introspective way to explore the chakras and their vital connection to the different states of being in singing. Really useful techniques to access strong emotion and intent, perfect for opera singing”

“Julie has devised a Toolkit which teaches the layers of technique required to produce a healthy singing voice. She covers the core principles of postural alignment, breath support, pitch, range and resonance. She gives very positive encouragement and individual feedback to her students leading on to exploring performance techniques. Her teaching sessions are both informative and great fun. Thoroughly recommended”
